Why Search Strategies?

Though being familiar with the core primary and secondary sources in one's field should not be underestimated, more important still may be the ability to find and evaluate new sources (or sources for which you have an incomplete citation).

This section of the website focuses on search strategies and techniques you can use regardless of your level of expertise in the subject area at hand. They focus not only on traditional "library" resources, but also on how you can make the Internet work for you as a research tool (but not as an end it itself). Lastly this section deals with basic approaches to evaluating information and citing that information in your academic work.
