- Creation of a Union List of Russian Serials dating from 1989 to the present. This searchable database is to be linked to the PACSLAV Web Page to facilitate consulation by member institutions.
[Estimated time of completion: Fall 1997] - Stanford University has embarked on a project to receive regional Pamiatnye Knizhki on microfilm in cooperation with the Russian National Library, Saint Petersburg. Many titles covering the European part of Russia in the early 20th century have already been filmed and received.
[Estimated time of completion: ongoing] - Nineteenth Century Russian Women Writers is a project begun between the University of California at Berkeley and the Russian National Library, Saint Petersburg. The project is designed to film rare original works of these writers, first concentrating on those that are not currently held in American libraries or in the PACSLAV consortium.
[Estimated time of completion: ongoing] - Group purchase of the Rossiiskaia Akademiia Nauk, Institut Nauchnoi Informatsii po Obshchestvennym Naukam database (referred to as RAS On-line in other documents). This database of social science and humanities bibliography is made available to the constituencies of the Consortium members through remote electronic access.
