TST News as of Feb. 6, 2009
As of the first of July, the Library teams started their restructuring process and TST was one that consolidated workteams. We have been reduced to 2 Work teams.

Team members now include: Julie Rupp(Team Leader), Alma Gaona, Lynne Carmody, Georgian Sabarese, Saad Dagher, Debbie Weller, Bobbie Atchison, Donna Rowe, Sofia Petropoulos.
- January holdings loaded and corrected (we corrected the fallout for both December and January this month – over 3,000 records)
- Coral Way Project is underway.

- Will need to do another 150 more objects before complete.
- We have begun working on our Developmental Goals
- Archival Processing pairs will start their new projects/work this week. (Lynne, Michelle, Georgean, Debbie W.)
- We are experiencing problems with our label printers. Currently, they are both semi-working and we are catching up on labeling. Julie has spent a week of working with Kerrie, DLIST and our Print Wizard representative to resolve it, but there are still some issues.
- Saad has completed work on two projects assigned to him:
- RLG Prospective Journals Preservation Project
- Library of Congress Journal Cancellations
- Sofia is helping out the team by withdrawing items, relocating items from main to Special Collection and labeling. We appreciate all her help!
- Gave back to the library $1,500.00 from Middle Eastern and $4000.00 from Cataloging.
Cataloging Archival Receiving Metadata Team (CARM)
Team members now include: Helen Quihuis(Team Leader), Edna Galvez, Sue Spence, Yunzhen "Jane" Wan, James Uhrig, and Lena Grijalva .
- Helen and Lena met with Doug Jones, Sara Heitshu, and Roger Myers to talk about the Oberman Coll. There were some significant questions that need to be answered before we can get started with this.
- Jane completed 173 children literature books for cataloging and labeling.
- Sue submitted her name to MROC.
- Jane and James received the first round of archival processing training.
- The following items are part of the process to prepare Millennium records for holdings display in WorldCat Local:
- Helen has been working with Tom to add OCLC record numbers to Millennium bib. records for electronic BNA and ACLS (American Council of Learned Societies) Humanities E-books (@1000 records).
- Edna has revised the BNA file load process to include adding the OCLC record numbers to records from BNA file loads.
- Robin our Graduate student is adding OCLC bib. records to Millennium records for “rejected” records (records not overlayed) from Bibliographic Notification file loads. We are loading the Bib. - Jane is working with Hitoshi to hire and train students to add OCLC record numbers to @4000 Japanese bib. records in Millennium.
