Areas of Responsibility:
Glenda Hendrickson, Administrative Associate:
- Provides administrative support and serves as co-receptionist for HROE Office
- Supports and schedules appointments for Martina Johansen
- Supports Library recruitment and hiring activities for appointed personnel and assists/backup in supporting recruitment and hiring for classified employees
- Coordinates recruitment and hiring of Library temporary personnel
- Provides assistance/backup with position descriptions, search committee training
- Assists with policy information and interpretation such as leave management, termination, probation, personnel actions
- Processes employee job status changes (promotions, career progression, sabbaticals, terminations)
- Tracks personnel data
- Provides general HROE office and administrative support
Martina Johansen, Program Coordinator, Sr.:
- Coordinates and supports recruitment and hiring for all positions including position description development, search committee training
- Coordinates University Personnel and Library Work-Related Policy interpretation and information including FML and other leaves, resignations/terminations, retirement, probation, performance reviews, international visas
- Coordinates resolution of personnel issues/actions including coaching, discipline, complaints, discrimination, rights
- Provides job analysis and pay rates for new hires, promotions and assignments to special duty
- Coordinates employee job status changes
- Coordinates Library employee health and wellness programs
Ellen Lawrence-Barnes, Administrative Assistant:
- Provides reception, information and referral for HROE office
- Assists in supporting and scheduling for Martina Johansen
- Supports Library recruitment and hiring of permanent classified employees and assists/backup in recruitment and hiring of temps and appointed personnel as needed
- Supports the recruitment and hiring of graduate assistants
- Manages the HROE website
- Supports the annual P&CS Committee
- Coordinates the logistics and registration of New Employee Orientation Foundations programs and maintains tracking of completion, including Preventing Sexual Harassment training
- Provides general HROE office and administrative support
- Supports LSSTeam when needed
