Users' Directories on the UAL Intranet
Below are the policies concerning creation and use of individual users accounts on the UAL intranet (see http://intranet.library.arizona.edu/users/).
- User's personal directories on the intranet are created and maintained solely by the individual user and will not be supported by DLIST or any other Library team.
- The University of Arizona Libraries does not endorse or monitor the content of these homepages. While the University of Arizona Libraries does caution authors regarding their responsibility to abide by applicable laws and policies, these pages do not constitute official University business, and neither the UAL nor the University of Arizona accept responsibility for the contents of these homepages.
- Web pages created in this space will NOT be linked to from the University of Arizona Libraries' public site nor any of our affiliated sites. If links to users' pages are found on the University of Arizona Libraries public site or any affiliated sites, they will be removed.
- The only exception to the above is the option of including a link to a user's homepage from their information page on the University of Arizona Libraries staff directory (http://www.library.arizona.edu/about/contact/staffDirectory.php).
-
The content on users' pages must adhere to the following policies when
applicable:
- Classified Staff Personal Policy Manual
- University Handbook for Appointed Personnel
- University Acceptable Use of Computers and Networks Policy
- Web Development Policies and Guidelines
- Any other federal, state, or local policy or law
- Users directories all share a common space. There is not a limit on the amount of space given to any user. That being said, it is advised that you consider other users when uploading to your users directory and try to keep the directory size small.
