Promotion and Continuing Status
About the Committee (2012-2013)
The Promotion and Continuing Status Committee is a standing committee consisting of five members with continuing status, who advise the Dean of Libraries on matters concerning retention, continuing status, and promotion. Details about the committee's structure and responsibilities can be found in the LFA Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 4, Implementation and Procedures. The committee is also responsible for conducting the annual reviews for continuing eligible librarians, as described in the Library Faculty Annual Review Evaluation Policy and Process (revised and approved December 2011).
