Note: Do not use the Article Linker or Search the UA Library Catalog links when trying to locate a thesis or dissertation. Instead do the following:
- If the dissertation/thesis was completed from 1996 onwards, it may be available online through the database ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Full Text.
- To locate the citation above, search by author (Marlow, Lana G)
- Note the options for viewing the abstract, 24-page preview or full text PDF.:
If you are not able to locate the dissertation/theses through the ProQuest Dissertations database, check here for other sources: Non-UA Dissertations/Theses
The UA Library generally does not purchase dissertations and theses from other universities or colleges. However, there are occasional exceptions. First, check the UA Library Catalog using the author and/or title of the dissertation.
If you do not find it listed in UA Library Catalog, request the document through the
UA Libraries’ Interlibrary Loan Service. Select "Request a Thesis" for dissertations (for UA faculty, staff and students).
