Welcome to the CCP Intranet Site!

The Center for Creative Photography (CCP), founded by photographer Ansel Adams and former UA President John P. Schaefer, is one of the world's largest photography archives. With a collection of 90,000+ photographs by 2,200+ photographers, in addition to 3.8 million+ archival items, the CCP is the largest single repository of materials chronicling the evolution of the photographic medium. The Center houses a permanent Ansel Adams photography gallery as well as a larger featured artists' exhibition gallery. The Center's archival and curatorial staff give visitors and scholars the opportunity to examine original photographs in relation to negatives, contact sheets, proof prints, diaries and other evidence that follow the creative process from the moment of inspiration to the final realization of visual representation. The CCP also supports traveling exhibitions and rights and reproductions staff who share our holdings worldwide.
